About the Job

NIIT Ltd is looking for full time contractual instructional designers for six months in San Francisco, USA.​

Financials: Negotiable

Person is required to work from San Francisco office (8am – 5pm).​

Qualifications:

• Previous instructional design and development experience preferably for a SAAS software provider

• Proficiency with common instructional technologies (articulate, WebEx, quiz maker, PowerPoint, and learning management systems)

• Ability to work in a consultative manner with technical experts

• Proactive self-starter that can work with urgency with limited supervision

The candidate should have experience of about 5-6 years in content design and development:

• Understand customer requirements from design document/​customer interactions.​

• Recommend and apply the appropriate ID methodology to the customer based on requirements and discuss the same with the client

• Should have technical content writing experience

• Interact with customer to gather requirements/​discuss design/​seek query clarifications

• Write storyboard based on defined requirements independently i.​e.​ the work need not be reviewed by anyone else

• Write all test items and supporting documents like glossary/​online reference etc mapping with learning objectives stated in content outline

• Interview SME/​customer and gather content for project

• Integrate/​construct course based on defined requirements

• Visualize graphics for the course

• Understand various technologies related to the project

• Knowledge about Sales force CRM application is preferred.​

Creating an introduction about the activities.​

· Building instructional context behind performing these activities.​

· Building summary of the activities either through a wrap up video from an expert or a post assessment or discussion questions
