Video Production Manager
Position Overview:
The Video Production Manager is responsible for overseeing successful fulfillment, production, graphics and editing of videos created in-house for CoStar’s clients.
This position provides direction for all video production efforts to effectively support CoStar goals of providing clients with high quality space tour videos. As part of the company’s overall communication efforts, the Video Production Manager provides strategic oversight and administrative direction over fulfillment, creation, video production services, publishing and archiving videos.
Essential Functions:
• Provide CoStar clients with professional video space tours in a timely manner.
• Editing non-linear audio and video using Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
• Develop client relations to ensure the needs of the clients are met in a timely and professional manner.
• Develop relationships across varying functions and disciplines to implement emerging imaging technology.
Responsibilities:
• Work with content experts to directly support client requests.
• Coordinating clients orders with Field Research Managers and Photographers.
• Create and maintain a weekly production calendar, satisfying all deadlines.
• Provide best practices expertise related to the online presentation of video, graphic and audio content.
• Oversee and coordinate all acquisitions of equipment, hardware and software.
• Evaluate quality of videos submitted by photographers to ensure effectiveness and professional growth.
• Provide the source of intellectual and business insight that enables CoStar to maximize the business potential of video production.
Skills and Qualifications: A successful candidate will possess:
• Proficiency in Mac and PC, MS Office is required, including high proficiency in Excel.
• Knowledge of digital photography, video production, post production, audio and compression formats.
• Motion Graphics experience and proficiency required
• Motion Graphic production, replication and development
• Proficient knowledge of the following applications:
Final Cut Pro X
Adobe Production Suite or similar workflow software
After Effects
Photoshop
Illustrator
• Proficient in production, animation and other special multi-media skills.
• Audio recording, editing music buds and special effects required
• Understanding of various HD and SD formats
• Collaborative approach to working across functions and disciplines in search of product, process and business solutions.
• Ability to meet project deadlines, keep schedules, manage costs and perform to target levels in a fast-paced production environment without compromising quality.
• Strong verbal, written, presentation and leadership skills.
• Ability to develop and execute high level strategies while learning and applying unfamiliar new concepts quickly.
• Proven track record of outstanding service to clients.
• Bachelor Degree required; degree in Digital Media disciplines preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial real estate, or willingness and ability to learn commercial real estate.
