Job DescriptionDevex – the world’s leading media brand covering global development – is offering a 4-6 month video journalism fellowship to a talented individual interested in video production and covering news and interviews with high-level officials in the international development and global aid community.  This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter to produce video content for our global audience of 500,000+ individuals and 1,000 donor agencies, companies and organizations.

 The fellowship will be 25 hours/week.  Some work can be done independently offsite, but (s)he must be flexible to work at Devex headquarters near Dupont Circle in Washington, DC, attend events and be available to work on projects with quick-turnaround.
Responsibilities: 

Duties will include, but not be limited to, the following:

    Operate cameras and provide production support at major industry events and interviews  with top officials
    Manage video assets and archive
    Edit single and multi-camera video interviews
    Manage and prepare A/V equipment for in-house studio and location shooting
Required qualifications:
This person must have knowledge of, and 0-1 years of experience with the following:

•     Operating professional video cameras and using basic lighting techniques
•     Video editing (Final Cut Pro or Premiere)

Preferred qualifications

•     Basic graphics production
•     Digital photography

Candidates with relevant experience will be preferred.
