Under minimal supervision, the Senior Actuarial Analyst supports the pricing and reserving of new/renewal business and development of effective premium/rating structure and strategies in support of business objectives. This role calculates profit margins on new and renewal business and coordinates, prepares and performs actuarial analysis or analyzes loss and expense reserves. The Senior Actuarial Analyst provides consultation on actuarial models and risk issues and supports Market Facing and Technical Underwriters on pricing decisions. This role may oversee the work of less experienced actuaries.

Job Qualifications

Bachelors Degree required.
5 or more years of related experience in an actuarial role required.
Active participation in the Actuarial Study Program towards achievement of designation and successful completion of five or more actuarial exams required.
Demonstrates technical knowledge and skills reflective of a senior practitioner who has progressed within Actuarial positions of increasing responsibility; typically seen in five or more years of related experience required.
Experience in multiple functional areas (pricing, reserving, capital management, etc.) and in multiple business units is strongly preferred.
Experience with MG Alfa preferred.
