This position is responsible for providing leadership, direction, supervision, and coordination for the activities of the soy processing production team.  The position assigns duties and assures work performance for exactness
and conformance to policies and procedures. The position monitors machines, equipment, and filters, and ensures that production is maximized and quality requirements are attained.  This position will report to the Production Superintendent.

Leading and managing the Soy production team to include hiring, training, developing, supervising, and evaluating performance to meet the needs of the business.
Leading, promoting, and creating a safe working environment for all team members in accordance with AgriBusiness Safety policies and Federal, State, and Local regulations.
Leading and managing environmental programs to ensure compliance with all local, state and federal requirements.
Managing Soy production operations to ensure maximum equipment and personnel utilization.
Managing product quality to ensure customer requirements and specifications are attained.
Managing routine maintenance programs for the production operation to ensure efficient operation.

BS Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or Agriculture or equivalent work experience.

  • 3 to 5 years production experience with 1 to 3 years supervisory experience.
  • Understanding of production operations.
  • Understanding of manufacturing technologies
  • Understanding of safety programs and requirements
  • Understanding of environmental programs and requirements
  • Understanding of standard software applications
  • Proven people skills, including coaching, confronting, managing and teaching
  • Communicates effectively both orally and in writing
