TX-Dallas A company’s “people investment” is one of its most significant investments and EY’s Human Capital practice focuses on helping clients better manage the cost and risk of their HR plans, programs and systems. Global Mobility professionals focus on helping clients with their international assignment programs. Services range from delivering expatriate tax returns, to assessing a client’s vendor, to completely outsourcing its assignment administration. We also advise on the tax and HR implications of certain transactions involving global executives and HR policies.
We currently have a career opportunity for an expatriate manager to be responsible for the day-to-day management and supervision of the client service delivery team in providing Assignment Services to the client and their international employees in accordance with the contract and service delivery model. This individual will be responsible for technical review and timely delivery of the service product and quality assurance procedures, including preparing international assignment contracts, assignment cost estimates, third-party vendor management, policy interpretation and dispute management and resolution. In addition, this individual is responsible for identifying and implementing ideas, and advising the client on policy design and interpretation issues.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the principal contact for the relationship manager and play an integral role in strategic planning for the development of new business opportunities.
Identify issues and risks with respect to the services, and provide and recommend the appropriate follow up to the client.
Provide ongoing support to regional human resources contacts, including answering questions, resolving problems, and settling issues.
Be responsible for the day-to-day management of account financials.To qualify, candidates must have:
- a bachelor’s degree and approximately 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 4 years of related work experience
- a degree or equivalent experience in communications, business, human resources, international studies or a related field
- a minimum of 3 years of experience in international business, client relations, human resources, accounting, or a related field
- ability to utilize technology-based tools, such as client server-based software, electronic mail, call tracking system, and database or groupware tools to perform job functions in accordance with guidance
- an understanding of database architecture is preferred
- working knowledge of foreign assignment matters, including payroll issues, relocation and housing, taxes, and compensation; working knowledge of world geography, languages, and cultural issues
- excellent communication skills in a cross-cultural environment and the ability to organize/handle multiple priorities with attention to detail
- computer-proficiency, including knowledge of MS Windows applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and electronic mail; Lotus Notes proficiency a plus
