 Duties:
Installs, maintains and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipe and electrical systems
using hand tools and testing instruments and following specifications.
Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment using electrical test equipment.
Communicates with supervisors, productio workers
and other maintenance workers to detect and diagnose malfunctions.
Dismantles defective machines, equipment, and installs new or repaired parts.
Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears
and other parts of machinery.
Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers, wiring, electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
Installs and maintains hydrox
equipment.
May install machinery and equipment according to blueprints and other specifications.
May install and repair automated machinery and equipment.
Also may operate welding equipment to join metal parts used to repair or fabricate equipment.
Responsible for Safe Quality Food, (SQF), HACCP, CCP tasks, sanitation and all support
program implementation.
Supervisory personnel may assign other duties as required.

Employee will work in interior temperatures between 40 ? 55 degrees F. 100% of the time.
Interior work area surfaces are wet and slippery 100% of the time.
Interior work surfaces may contain raw poultry parts.
Exterior climate will vary based on exisiting weather conditions.
High school or GED preferred. Must be able to understand basic instructions from supervisors.
Able to read blueprints, schematics and other related material.
Experience with industrial poultry equipment maintenance preferred.

Work schedules vary based on production schedule. Schedule will be assigned by the supervisor.

Work hours may include Saturday and Sunday as scheduled days.

Maintain plant and facility equipment.

Employee will clock in and gather their supplies when they arrive at the facility and then receive
instructions from supervisor.
