The Company is seeking an organized, deadline oriented, self-starter to work in fast paced poultry Quality Control dept. Must possess excellent attention to detail. Must be able to read, write, understand and speak English. Ability to handle raw poultry
is required. Must be able to repetitively lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. Individual will be actively involved in the Company Safety program and the long term and short term goals of the department. Ability to work as part of a team is essential.
Essential Duties and responsibilities:
Interpret and enforce quality control rules, regulations and procedures.
Work for a full shift from a standing position, and regularly climb and descend stairs.
Oriented to multi-tasking.
Work as part of a team to function effectively as a group.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Wear required protective equipment.
Check temperatures and documentation.
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Participate in Company and department safety program.
Ability to carry out repetitive motions of the arms, wrists and hands.
Comply with Company Policies and Procedures.

Education and/or Experience:
High school education not required but beneficial.
Previous experience in quality control helpful but not required.

Language Skills:
Ability to understand, speak, and write fluent English. Spanish a plus but not required.

Reasoning Ability:
Have the ability to interpret and enforce rules, regulations and procedures.
Ability to accurately carry out instructions given by Supervisor is essential.

Physical Demands:
Ability to regularly stand, walk, and repetitively use arms, wrists and hands.
Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
Vision requirements will include close vision, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
