The Corporate division encompasses the core operational support for all Land OLakes businesses. It includes Business Development Services, Corporate Strategy, Corporate Communications, Land OLakes Foundation and Community Relations, Finance, Law, Human Resources, Information Technology and Government Relations.

Position Purpose:
This position is responsible for leading corporate development activities, analyzing key strategic issues, leading strategy projects and driving the Corporate long-range and annual planning process to enhance Land OLakes ability to achieve its growth objectives on behalf of the executive leadership team (ELT).
Qualifications:

Experience-Education (Required): MBA with a minimum 5-7 years broad-based business experience in consulting, strategic planning, corporate development and/or general management, preferably across multiple industries

Competencies-Skills (Required):
Strong strategic thinker with experience developing and analyzing comprehensive strategic business plans.

Demonstrated expertise in using strategic tools and frameworks to evaluate growth opportunities. Analytical orientation with ability to create and interpret financial and market analyses. M&A transaction experience including target evaluation, due diligence, negotiations, integration. Superior communication skills with the ability to develop and deliver effective presentations to senior leaders both internally and externally. Innate curiosity and desire to develop understanding of industries and businesses. Senseof urgency and flexibility to meet tight deadlines to deliver results. Effective at building relationships and engaging resources toward achievement of objectives; ability to create commitment and cohesiveness within teams; strong ability to influence others and outcomes. Ability to work effectively and to foster open dialogue across functional, organizational and geographic boundaries.

Competencies-Skills (Preferred): Agribusiness experience and P&L management desirable but not required.
