Financial Services Office (FSO) – Assurance Manager – Banking and Capital Markets (BCM) (Multiple Positions), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, New York, NY:** Implement EY”s global audit methodology and thorough quality controls for all audit client engagements. Deliver quality assurance services to clients and their stakeholders. Develop and maintain productive relationships with client management. Establish expectations of value to be delivered. Perform audit procedures, especially focusing on complex and/or specialized issues. Plan engagement objectives and audit strategies that comply with professional standards and appropriately address risk. Understand the client”s industry and recognize key performance drivers, business trends, and emerging technical and industry developments. Delegate work successfully. Conduct timely performance reviews and provide performance feedback/training. Lead by example. Participate in advisory-related engagements. Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery. Maintain an educational program to continually develop skills. Maintain cooperative relationships with other engagement teams. Monitor the engagement team”s progress against the plan and alter it when needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor”s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelor”s progressive related work experience; OR a Master”s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, plus 4 years of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 4 years of experience working as an auditor for a public accounting firm.

Must have experience serving clients in the banking/capital markets industry groups which may include retail, commercial or investment banks, brokers/dealers, or similar institutions.

Must have an active US CPA or foreign equivalent.

Must have experience participating in engagement management, engagement execution and reporting and client relationship building.

Must have managerial experience leading project teams in a professional services environment.

Must have strong project management skills.
