Job summary:
As Mobility International Senior Associate, you”ll administer Ernst & Young”s mobility programs, by providing comprehensive counseling and support for the assignees. You”ll interact regularly with inbound and/or outbound assignees to administer policy. In doing so, you”ll also help assignees understand how the policy fits into their personal circumstances. In this role, you”ll escalate assignee issues that may require further guidance from the Center for Mobility Services (CMS) management. You”ll also participate in ongoing mobility initiatives and special projects.

Although you”ll receive general supervision, you”ll generally work independently. You may act as a mentor/trainer for junior staff.

Responsibilities:
* Interact with assignees on a regular basis, to answer questions and resolve issues
* Identify and escalate complex assignee issues to CMS management as needed
* Review cost estimates, to confirm they comply with global policies, and include known exceptions
* Identify and manage any cases that do not comply with exceptions and policy. Recommend ways to resolve these
* Counsel assignees on all aspects of mobility. This includes policy benefits, cash flow impact, exchange rate impact, policy updates and personal issue resolution
* Coordinate with external resources (e.g., temporary housing, real estate agents) to achieve a smooth transition for assignees
* Work with internal resources (e.g., Payroll, Human Resources (HR), Finance) to address questions and resolve issues
* Administer allowances for assignees
* Review assignee relocation-related expenses, and vendor payments, to confirm they comply with Ernst & Young policies
* Work with CMS management and leaders, to review business cases. Recommend an appropriate mobility policy
* Utilize a strong working knowledge of mobility policies and procedures, to recommend improvements to the work flow and processes
* Escalate immigration issues (as needed) to the Visa & Immigration team or leader
* Review/prepare the evaluation of foreign exchange (fx) rates, and review fx protection sheets where appropriate
* Review/prepare compensation schedules, so that they”re ready to be executed and set up on the split payroll
* Set up foreign currency wires and coding, for income recognition
* Collect any outstanding deposits
* Complete administrative tasks such as updating CMS databases, filing, etc
* Participate on special projects as needed
* Prepare cash flow examples that represent the cost of living abroad
* Help assignees understand the policy benefits, so they can evaluate these against their personal circumstances and needs
* Resolve non-routine questions for assignees

Knowledge and skills requirements:
* Understanding of international business
* Strong attention to detail
* Very good knowledge of HR, tax, and finance concerns, in relation to international mobility
* Good follow-up and time management skills, to meet US and global deadlines
* General knowledge of Immigration issues
* Excellent understanding of how foreign exchange rates impact compensation
* Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
* Strong customer services skills
* Competent at communicating with leaders, other areas of the firm, mobility teams among member firms, and external vendors
* English language skills – excellent written and verbal communication
* Cultural awareness
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Lotus Notes
* Strong database or database management skills

Experience:
 A minimum of 4-7 years related experience
 International exposure, cultural awareness and/or relocation experience preferred

Education:
 Bachelor”s degree or equivalent work experience
Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) designation preferred
 Global Mobility Specialist (GMS) designation preferred
