Responsibilities:
CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Indianapolis, IN CHS Hedging office.  We are looking for a Market Analyst to join the team. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be detail oriented.
 
You Will:

    Perform market analysis of all commodities to support the hedging and trading decisions which maximizes profit potential while effectively managing risk of our customer base in commercial and production agriculture.
    Provide customer service to retain and expand current business plus solicit new business.
    Responsible for positions, delivery and options for all assigned accounts and/or commodities.
    Develop opportunities in hedging, basis trading, farmer programs, transportation planning and government programs.

Basic Qualifications:

    Bachelor degree in Agriculture or Business.
    Successfully completion of NASD Series 3 exam & be NFA registerable.
    4 years of direct experience in agriculture, commodity trading, research and technical analysis.
    Experience with physical, delivery, basis and price risk and the techniques nessessary to mitigate those risks.
    Knowledge of financial risk management methods and hedging techniques.
    Analytical skills applicable to trading and commodity transactions.
    Must be analytical, a problem solver, customer service oriented, a team player, promotional and detail oriented.

Preferred Qualifications:

    Excellent personal computer skills.
    Possess an outgoing personality.
