Minimum Qualifications:

MA/MBA with 13 - 15 years of experience OR PhD with 8 - 10 years of experience OR the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Responsibilities:

The Project Director for the Program Evaluation for Prevention รข€“ Contract (PEP-C) will:

  •    Provide leadership and day-to-day management of the contract.
  •     Be responsible for overall development and implementation of the PEP-C as a valuable resource to the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP)
  •     Be responsible for the technical, administrative, and operational functioning of the endeavor.
  • This is a contingent position open to US telecommuters.

Skills Prerequisites:
The ideal candidate will:

  •     Have fifteen (15) years' experience in substance abuse prevention research and be knowledgeable about data activities in this field, as well as in related fields.
  •     Be a recognized expert in the field of substance abuse prevention and/or data reporting/evaluation in the social sciences.
  •     Have at least five (5) years of a publications record in substance abuse prevention data reporting and/or evaluation
  •     Be proficient in managing staff
  •     Be proficient in managing federal or state projects of similar scope and size
  •     Have a Ph.D. in social science research
