Position Overview:
The Event Management Specialist role supports Canon Professional Services in a customer relations role. Supports and executes divisional trade shows, workshops and events.
This position will support CPS Program operations as well as support any needed load balance with SEL Program operations. Will interact with enduser members and internal customers in support of product loan and support operations. Including, voice and email communication, product scheduling and loaning, database entry and data maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively work in the team supporting over 20000 CPS members.
- Member interaction and support to the individual level via phone, e-mail and in person
- Evaluation loan processing
- Membership profile maintenance
- Program, system and process review and feedback
- Trade show and event support (including some travel)
- Bachelors degree or equivalent.
- At least 1-2 years of related work experience is required.
- Excellent computer skills include Microsoft Office suite
- Detail and deadline oriented with the ability to quickly analyse data from different databases and make independent decisions.
- Good organizational skills, multi-tasker, strong verbal and writing skills.
- Customer relations experience preferred.
