Description

POSITION SUMMARY: Technically trained to function as a sterile member of the surgical team, either in the primary scrub role or as assistant, and functions under the supervision of the RN in the operating room. Provides direct patient care using the Nursing Process and in accordance with professional standards, hospital and unit policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Licensure/certification/registration: N/A
Experience Required: Two years previous scrub experience preferred. Knowledge of anatomy/physiology. Knowledge of OR theories, practices, knowledge in sterilization methods. CPR
Special Skills & Qualifications: CST preferred.
