We are looking for a Feed Sales Representative for a territory in Sothern Wyoming and Northern Colorado.  You will promote all aspects associated with the sales and services of the Payback™ products. You must be self motivated, customer focused, and a goal orientated sales representative with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Payback™, our proprietary line of economical animal nutrition delivers consistent, proven results that give ranchers a profit edge. In addition, experienced CHS animal nutritionists offer consultation on the latest in customized ration planning, livestock nutritional management, animal health and environmental engineering, as well as feed financing.

You will;

    Responsible for Sales and Services of all aspects associated with Dairy Feed for CHS
    Provide nutrition consultation and sales to key dairy accounts in trade area
    Provide salesmanship to selected dealers or direct accounts according to sales management and assigned dealership manager
    Quoting prices, credit terms, and preparing sales contracts for orders obtained
    Meet the needs and resolve problems of current customers
    Prospect new accounts
    Attend periodic trade shows and nutritional or dairy management meetings to promote company image
    Assist in developing marketing plans and strategies for assigned territory
    Daily travel throughout assigned sales territory with possibility of overnight stays.
    Establish and maintain effective public relations through customer education and the promotion of new products.
    Work well with patrons in a courteous and professional manner



Basic Qualifications:
    2 year Ag related degree, qualified work experience may substitute all or part of education.
    1-3 year’s successful sales experience.
    Prior Feed and/or Dairy Experience.
    Valid driver’s license with a Clean Driving Record
    Ability to travel with overnight stays
    Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word and Excel


Preferred Qualifications:
    4 year Ag related degree preferred
    Experience developing marketing plans, calculating margins and profit.
