This position will cover a geography in the Modesto area of California. The Master Agronomy Advisor position is responsible for the identification, introduction, development and long-term success with key identified growers in their assigned geography. The role involves establishment of an ongoing relationship with identified growers through working directly with and providing growers with services focused on the seed/crop protection business. The role works directly in the Winfield National Sales organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Agriculture or Business related field with 3-5 years proven successful sales experience OR Associates Degree and 10 Years of Experience in seed and/or cpp sales. Sales experience in crop inputs. Strong agricultural industry knowledge. Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Marketing experience enabling the recognition of seed sales growth opportunities driven by the interaction of seed genetics with the environment within which they are planted and the other crop inputs used on that field (crop protection and fertilizer). Ability to work independently. Proven ability to interact well with customers, suppliers, employees and management of all levels. Proven ability to solve and resolve issues quickly and effectively. Ability to create and present interesting, informative and educational product presentations.

Environment: Farm machinery can be loud, fields are dusty and dirty, and weather conditions can vary from hot and humid to cold and wet.
