Position Purpose:
Prepares and maintains accounting records which include general accounting, costing, and budget data. Analyzes, investigates and corrects accounting entries as needed. Assists with the monthly close and account reconciliation process. Performs capital expenditures reconciliation and prepares reports. Performs financial analysis and prepares trend reports, prepares variance analysis reports, summarizes market variance reports, and assists with company budgeting and forecasting process.

Works on assignments of moderate scope within accepted guidelines where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of issues. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Builds productive working relationships internally and externally. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
 
Qualifications:
Experience-Education (Required):

Bachelors Degree with an emphasis in accounting or business
* 2 years relevant accounting experience

Competencies-Skills (Required):
* Computer literate in spreadsheet and word applications
* Good analytical and organizational skills
* Understanding of cost accounting, month end closings and journal entries
