The Product Manager / Senior Product Manager will be the executionary point for implementing the business strategy for BASF SPD business segments. They will also be responsible for product life cycle management and new product development.

Key responsibilities include:
Budgeting and forecasting demand
Development of 10 year demand forecast
Oversee all internal product and system requirements to ensure that customer needs are met while achieving our financial objectives
Assist in new product development including performance needs, label requirements, packaging and pricing
Interface with the field sales team in order to successfully communicate strategic and tactical direction that will drive the business to reach financial goals

This position will be part of the overall SPD marketing team, but will report directly to the Marketing Manager.

This position is part of a job family with multiple levels. The successful candidate will be placed at a level commensurate with experience and skill level.

Required:
Bachelor's Degree
10 years of Marketing, Product and Sales Experience
Strong understanding of Business to Business sales
Proven leadership skills
Willing and able to travel domestically up to 30%


Preferred:
Knowledge of non-crop markets
MBA
