Position Description:
Aesculap is currently seeking a Consignment Inventory Specialist who will be responsible for the reduction of inventory write-offs through the implementation of plans and processes with an emphasis on Hospital Consignment accounts within the AIC/​AIS Division; Coordinate logistics to conduct the physical inventory of field accounts, timely account reconciliation and reporting out key assets and inventory results.​

Essential Responsibilities:
• Manage and report/​support national plan to address shelf life product for AIC/​AIS Division.​
• Manage major Hospital Consignment accounts to ensure process is being followed.​
• Proactively coordinate and perform physical inventories associated with consignment inventories and the annual inventories maintained by sales reps.​
• Reconcile, maintain and analyze inventory balances associated with consignment inventories, assigned warehouses and with sales rep inventories.​
• Leverage Sales group accountability with routine follow-up and the confirmation of compliant process implementation.​
• Design and distribute meaningful monthly reports that provide accurate information regarding inventories (late loaners, turn report), shortages and overages.​
• Document and sign-off on all write-offs and write on’s associated with overages.​
• Researches and resolves discrepancies on accounts.​
• Daily utilization of the inventory management system (SAP) to reconcile discrepancies on the system to ensure accurate reporting.​
• Maintains files for field audits.​
• Performs other duties as required
• Must comply with applicable ISO and FDA regulation as stated in the Quality Manual.​
• Must embody the Company's Vision, Mission and Values.​

Education/​Experience:
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Business, Logistics or Engineering.​
• Minimum Five years of Inventory management experience required
• Three years Inventory Control experience in an automated warehouse environment.​
o Inventory Control Systems SAP experience is highly preferred
o Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) required
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.​
• Working knowledge of SOP/​GMP requirements.​
• Knowledge of CFR820, ISO13485 and ISO14971
• Knowledge of Lean material flow, planning and scheduling preferred.​
