Position Description:
Aesculap is currently seeking a contract to hire Inventory Analyst that will be responsible for providing in depth analysis and developing internal and external process improvements to improve the strategic and tactical performance of our customer delivery. Develops new capabilities, tools and models to support the optimization and recommendations on service related components. The position requires strong level of integration within and outside of Operations team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Meet/exceed annual targets of inventory goals (Both Commercial and Non Commercial)
• Make recommendations for improvement in tactical performance against key inventory performance metrics (coverage in weeks, aged inventory, expired inventory)
• Drive performance in improving scorecard metrics
• Build cross-functional relationships and facilitate integration with Field Sales, Operation’s Planning, Logistics, Sales, Marketing and R&D.
• Initiate, manage and lead project/process improvement efforts designed to optimize inventory management
• Develop new tools that lead to improved efficiencies, cost savings and inventory profile
• Develop and share new best practices across the organization
• Provide ad hoc reporting as required
• Assist and lead with maintenance of inventory programs.(Field Audit, Efficiency Incentives, Loss Preventions, Terminations, Expired Products, Shelf Life Management)
• Drive improvement of department scorecard metrics and timely reports to the organization.
• Must comply with ISO and FDA regulation as stated in Quality Manual
• Must embody the Company’s Vision, Mission and Values.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Business, Logistics or Engineering. A minimum of 7-10 years total work experience is required. Experience working in Materials Management, Logistics. Project management experience is required. PMI or APICS certification preferred. Knowledge of ERP planning tools (i.e. SAP-PP, MM, WM modules) is required along with Supply/Demand Planning experience with strong analytics. Must have excellent communication skills. The ability to partner interdependently with cross-functional leadership and influence decision-making across multiple functional organizations and levels is required. Must possess a demonstrated ability to manage complexity. Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to create, cultivate and implement change, are a must. Knowledge of Lean material flow, planning and scheduling preferred. Six Sigma/Process Excellence training and/or certification is preferred.
