We are seeking a Media Buyer, to join our growing Marketing Department at our Corporate Office in Calabasas, CA.​

The ideal candidate will possess several years of media buying and planning focusing on newspaper, shared mail/​ADVO, FSI, magazines, radio, TV and digital media in both general and Hispanic markets.​ The buyer will work closely with the Director, Media Planning and Analysis, the VP of Marketing, media vendors, and other members of the Marketing Department, Merchandise Department and Creative Department in the coordination of communication, tactics, and budgets.​ Specific experience with executing media buys for direct marketing focused, multi-channel retailers in large national retail chains is a significant plus.​

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    Negotiate with all media outlets including print, radio, TV, outdoor and digital
    Build and develop relationships that result in world-class execution and efficiency
    Secure highly efficient programming with a keen eye toward reaching the right audience at the right time with the right message, product and price
    Optimize profitability through data analysis
    Maintain existing media relationships and find new solutions to meet ever-changing business needs
    Participate in the ongoing planning process, recommending media selection and investment levels
    Investigate new business models to improve advertiser results
    Utilize state-of-the-art media buying tools
    Additional duties as assigned by manager
Qualifications:
Education and/​or Experience:
    Bachelor's degree preferred
    5-7+​ years media buying/​planning experience with an emphasis on buying/​planning print based media
    Quantitative analysis is essential in this role
    Strives to meet and exceed expectations on a daily basis
    Effectively manages multiple tasks and priorities within a fast-paced environment
    Anticipates, manages, and adapts to change
    Operates independently and collaboratively as part of a team
    Leads and takes initiative
    Exceptional listening and communication skills

Physical Requirements:
    General office environment, ability to sit for long periods of time.​  Ability to move about an office.​
