To provide administrative support to the Customer Service Department and Administration Offices.  To provide back up to Customer Service Department in making outbound customer calls as needed. Will also assist with the execution of special events and/or
projects as needed.  Must be a friendly self-starter individual with a pleasant phone voice and energetic personality.  Requires Microsoft Office experience and at least 1 year of office and/or clerical experience.  Individual will be actively involved in
the Company Safety program and the long term and short term goals of the department. AA degree or related experience preferred but not required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1.  Administrave Support including but no limited to: 
(1) Maintain/update all calendar entries and schedules numerous meetings to include room arrangments, call-in-lines (internal and external);
(2) Prepares memos, letters, statistical reports, charts and
tables, timeliens and graphs; prepares effective graphic presentations, spreadsheets, reports and sales materials utilizing current technology, i.e, scanning and internet;
(3) Makes return calls for numerous outside vendors and solicitiation requests;
(4)Proof various documents and grammar and spelling errors;
(5) Process and screen internal and external mail; (6) Faxes, copies and distributes various documents;  (7) Print reports as necessary;  (8) Make travel arrangments; (9) Complete expense reports for
executives; (10) Provide secreterial support to the Brand Committee; (11)Local Area Network (LAN) Admiminstrative backup

2. Office Functionality, including but not limited to: (1) provides phone coverage directing customers, consumers and ouside suppliers as appropriate; (2) Ensures numerous departmental are completed, including ordering and pick up food and refreshments and
set for various meetings, picks up product samples, picks up coffee suplies for the department, flowers and cards, etc., typically department supplies; (3) Picks up and sorts mail for the department dailiy; (4) Orders and maintains inventory of department
supplies; (5) Schedules and coordinates monthly department gatherings for birthdays/anniversaries.

3.  Project Assitance: (1) Compiles and prepares presentations, including graphs; (2) Coordinates all agency hospitality for local meetings; (3) Arranges vender and agency tours; (4) Assists with special projects, such as recipe card development and proofing.

4.  Provides clerical support to include but not limited to: typing, filing, copying, plotting, scanning, answering phones, taking notes, transcription, sorting, mailing, handling confidential material, and calendar maintenance for the Complex Director.
Coordinates the day-to-day office activies to include: ordering supplies, janitorial services, etc.

5. Reconciles monthly credit cards for the Complex Director Procurement Card and the Travel & Entertainment Card.

6. Assists with the preparation and scheduling of customer visits, which will include arranging lodging, plant visits, transportation and meals, etc.

Education and/or Experience:

AA degree or related experience preferred, but not required.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general poultry husbandry procedures.
Ability to collect data and prepare reports.

Language Skills:

Ability to understand, speak, and write fluent English. Spanish a plus but not required.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve problems and/or adjustments related to changing conditions.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral and verbal forms, such as customer orders.  Ability to communicate effectively with peers and managements.

Physical Demands:

Ability to carry out repetitive motions of the arms, wrists and hands.  Ability to use hands to feel objects, tools and controls.  Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 pound boxes and material regularly.  Ability to regularly stand, walk, and climb, balance,
stoops, kneel, crouch or crawl.  Must have close and distance vision and ability to distinguish colors.
