BASF's Crop Protection business, located in BASF's facility in Research Triangle Park, NC, is seeking a motivated Senior Global Marketing Specialist with marketing, business and strategic skills.

As a Senior Global Marketing Specialist, the successful candidate will join the Global Marketing team for Insecticides.
The role focuses on supporting the Global Marketing team, supporting business unit strategy implementation, and active participation in a global crop team.  

In their assignment as Senior Global Marketing Specialist, the selected candidate will also coordinate the overall Insecticide Strategy for the business unit and assist in the target setting for new market opportunities. 

This position reports to Vice President Marketing, Insecticides.

Required:
Bachelor's Degree (Business, biology, chemistry, entomology, agriculture, or related field).
7-10 years of work (ie: sales, marketing and/or agricultural experience), and/or post graduate schooling experience.
International experience - personal or professional.
High degree of independence and self-motivation.
Ability to work across orgainzational and country boundaries.

Preferred:
MBA.
Agribusiness experience.
Fluency in a second language.
