Develop and install electronic control projects from the concept and design stage through to the production stage and make modifications to the product when necessary. Research, investigate and select technical data pertinent to the assigned project.
Communicate with other internal departments, vendors, etc. to obtain technical information and data relative to engineering requirements. Prepare sketches and assist in the areas of design, layout, detailed drawing, material procurement, construction and testing of experimental models.
Develop and evaluate electronic circuits.
Coordinate engineering efforts with Drafting, Production, Service, Purchasing and Sales.
Develop, evaluate and document new and modified product software programs. Advise personnel involved in project design and production with technical engineering information. Meet with vendors and suppliers to select production components.

Minimum associates degree in Electronics or related field. Minimum three years experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. At least five years of technical experience to include construction and test of component and/or system prototypes. Knowledge of electronic test procedures and skill in using electronic equipment. Knowledge of electronic requirements in relation to product design. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
