Right now, we are seeking a Manager, Sales Compensation Operations.
The Manager, Sales Compensation Operations is responsible for all sales compensation programs, projects and initiatives that include multiple sales forces.
This role will have a primary focus on:
- Design, develop and deploy overarching sales compensation process maps and project plans
• Achieve operational efficiency and effectiveness through process improvement and advanced technology
• Manage day-to-day operations
Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain positive and productive relationships with clients
• Inform clients and key stakeholders on status of ongoing operations and assigned initiatives
• Actively elicit feedback from colleagues, sales management and participants
• Implement and operationalize all technology, process and operational improvements. Identify opportunities to leverage technology and other resources to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency.
• Establish and maintain standard operating procedures, policies, terms & conditions and governance rules
• Develop, monitor, and track SLAs and performance requirements of sales compensation group and, where applicable, outsourced vendors
• Maintain overarching process maps, project plans and calendars
• Provide senior management with visibility into ongoing enterprise-wide performance, sales incentive effectiveness and spend through periodic reports, dashboards and payout disclosures
• Track and manage all design and operational processes. Anticipate, identify and address roadblocks to achieving deadlines and milestones.
• Design, develop and implement standardized templates for communication, documentation and training for reward and recognition programs in collaboration with the Managers, Sales Compensation
• Design, develop and implement interim performance reports and payout statements in collaboration with the Managers, Sales Compensation
• Assist in integrating new sales forces due to mergers and acquisitions as required
• Attract, develop and lead a staff of sales compensation professionals
Qualifications
- Experience with sales compensation design and administration
- General compensation experience with exposure to competitiveness, analysis, market pricing job evaluation, and job families
- Bachelor’s Degree with 3-5 years of related experience or Master's Degree with 2 years of related experience
- Project/process management experience
- Financial analysis and modeling
- Statistical methods and analysis
- Strong computer skills including Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Statistical software (e.g., SPSS or SAS)
- Experience with third-party sales compensation administration platforms (preferred)
- Ability to make clear and cogent presentations to all levels of management
- Ability to establish productive and positive relationships with all levels of management
