A great candidate would have 2 or more yrs of experience and be a good generalist that is comfortable in treating a large age range and diagnosisrange. The candidate should work well with other disciplines and other members of the PT Team. A strong commitment to practicing evidence based therapy and providing exceptional customer service. The candidate should be committed to meeting or exceeding departmental productivity goals and keeping current on documentation. A work/life balance is also important. A flexible attitude in regards to assisting in acute care should there be a need is also important.

Full Time - Mon-Thurs 9hr days in outpatient Sunday- 4 hours inpatient Day Shift (no call) Must be graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a Virginia license or lecense eligible. New graduates and LPT with Masters considered. Salary: Depends on Years of Directly Related Experience in Field. Provides Physical Therapy Services in an Outpatient Setting Responsible for physical therapy evaluations on new and existing patients. Responsible for developing and implementing physical therapy treatment plans of care that are consistent with evidenced based best practice. Responsible for keeping all documentation current. Land and aquatic therapy treating 8-10 patients a day.

The company is community owned, non profit. The rehab center is a beautiful facility completed in 2008 with specialty equipment including: NeuroCom/Balance Master, BTE Primus, TechnoGym, & an aquatic pool. ReDoc is the computerized documentation system used by the therapist. The outpatient therapy team consist of five dynamic DPT's. Each PT typically sees 8-10 patients daily and is scheudled for 8 hours weekly in the pool. We offer great benefits and strive in quality. We are adding radiation therapy to our Cancer and Rehab Center along with a plans for a new outpatient surgery unit and radiology expansion. Centrally located between Richmond, VA and Raleigh, NC and only a 2 hour from the beach or the mountains.
