The Sr. Project Electrical Engineer will be responsible for providing effective electrical definition for front end loading of projects and oversight to design, construction and start-up of facilities. As a member of project teams, you will network, coordinate, and collaborate with other DuPont team members and engineering contractors to provide high quality deliverables at each phase of the project.


This position will be the lead engineer for electrical function on small projects, = $500M but = $30MM. Project responsibilities include:

    Owner and electrical leader for project front end loading (FEL)

    Reviewing electrical cost estimates, project cost controls, design schedules and reconciliation of dependencies with other disciplines

    Developing electrical scopes-of-work and specifications

    Responsible for all aspects of electrical design including but not limited to: Application of Codes, Standards, & Regulations, Area Classification, Cable routing, CAD drawing creation and checking, Electrical System Studies, Utility interface where applicable

    Supporting vendor acceptance testing and planning and execution of commissioning activity

    Electrical equipment specification of Switchgear, Distribution Transformers, Protective Relays, Motors, Motor Control Centers. Adjustable Speed Drives, Heating, Lighting, Programmable Logic Controllers

Skills:
    You must have BSEE degree from an ABET accredited university.
    At least 5 years industrial or chemical plant experience in process improvement or capital project experience
    Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
    Experience driving for results in a team environment
    Ability to travel 25% of time depending upon location of project
