Responsibilities:

CHS Cut Bank has an exciting opportunity. We are looking for a full-time Accounting Specialist to join our team.  You must be a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with a commitment to quality, accuracy and the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work in both a team environment and on self-directed tasks are necessary.

In this position you will:

·        Process Accounts Payable (A/P) and Account Receivable (A/R).
·        Reconcile accounts and bills, analyze discrepancies.
·        Perform routine balancing, filing, and calculating.
·        Run Daily Position Reports.
·        Maintain Record keeping logs, including sales tickets.
·        Handle customer phone calls.
·        Provide clear office communications, written and verbal.
·        Create favorable image of the Coop.
·        Assist the Controller when needed.
·        Perform other duties as needed or assigned.

Basic Qalifications:

    Associate’s degree in Accounting (Additional years of accounting experience may offset education)
    3 years of A/P and A/R experience
    Previous Customer Service experience
    Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
    Must pass pre-employment drug screen


Preferred Qualifications:
    Agris accounting software experience
    Previous accounting experience with grain or agronomy
    Farming background / understanding
