Overview:
This position is a working supervisor in a business team that serves as the liaison between the customer, logistics, credit, and the commercial trading group. This Oilseed Processing team is responsible for managing Contract to Cash processes with a focus on effectiveness and efficiency while leveraging Bunge North America systems and technology. The manager will ensure the team has processes and procedures in place to respond to customer inquiries in a timely and proactive manner, using each customer contact as an opportunity to display Bunge’s commitment to provide excellent customer service. The team’s primary processes will include sales contract entry, contract pricing orders, shipment scheduling and load order management, contract application, and invoicing. The scope of activities includes U.S. meal, crude oil, hulls, and biodiesel.

Essential Functions:
  •     Manage the Oilseed Processing Customer Service Team, ensuring that all core functions assigned to the team below are executed daily with a focus on continuous improvement to deliver effective (e.g. accuracy and timeliness) and efficiency (transactions costs) while providing excellent customer service
  •     Create contracts and pricings in SAP GTM
  •     Receive and process customer requests to schedule shipments and process them by entering them into SAP GTM, communicating the load order to the plant, and communicating load order numbers and shipment notifications to the customer
  •     Assist with optimization of rail shipments
  •     Notify the appropriate commercial team when pricing is needed for a load that has already shipped and match those pricings to the load orders
  •     Apply tickets to contracts in SAP GTM
  •     Ensure all charges and expenses have been correctly added to the tickets through invoice creation/delivery in SAP GTM and ensure that disciplines are in place to capture contract liabilities and payment controls for associated expenses such as brokerage, tonnage taxes, and freight.
  •     Manage invoice completion and delivery processes striving for a high percentage of electronic invoice delivery
  •     Facilitate AR dispute cases, including corrections of invoices as necessary
  •     Establish standard processes and manage meal quality claims in close coordination with the various commercial teams and plants
  •     Assist the commercial team with reporting and analytics on open Accounts Receivable and liaison with AR Shared Services to facilitate timely and efficient collection processes
  •     Process customer and vendor (commodity expense related) requests in MDM
  •     Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration; such as Finance and Accounting, Management, or Marketing
  •     Five to seven years customer service experience with a demonstrated ability to create and maintain strong customer relationships
  •     Previous experience in supervising a team including training and development
  •     Experience in agribusiness or related industry a plus
  •     Experience with SAP/Global Trade Management (GTM) is highly desirable
  •     Demonstrated proficiency in PC applications, such as Excel and Word.
  •     Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; verbal, written phone/email etiquette skills
  •     Strong attention to detail, problem solving, prioritization and organizational skills
  •     Self-starter who requires minimal guidance and can portray Bunge core values while advancing Bunge key capabilities
  •     Leadership competencies and commitment to Bunge’s core values
