As a Technical Consultant in UI/​ Mobile Development at Summa, you will be an important contributor in solving some of the most complex and highly visible business/​ technology issues for our clients.​ The Technical Consultant, an integral part of our Core Delivery team, will participate in delivering a variety of software solutions in a team oriented, collaborative environment.​

Job Duties:
    Provide Software Engineering Development consulting services, either at the client's location or at the Summa office, by participating in the solution development, implementation and project closeout at customer sites
    Apply advanced programming techniques to develop robust, medium-to-large applications
    Work independently within the customer's environment
    Demonstrate the ability to quickly and routinely solve complex problems independently
    Understanding of the full application lifecycle from inception through maintenance
    May lead front end mobile development projects
    Able to travel potentially up to 75%​ in and out of state

Required Skills:
    Software design experience (able to participate in the design and understand their role)
    Strong communication skills
    A sense of curiosity and problem solving skills
    Eagerness to jump into a variety of work and technology

Preferred Skills:
    Possess Multi- platform/​ languages (Java, .​NET, Ruby, etc.​)
    Hybrid mobile development, iOS or Adroid mobile development experience
    Dojo, JQuery Mobile
    Eclipse
    MDM or MAM is highly preferred

Experience Required:
   5+​ years experience in web and/​or client server application development

Required Technology Skills
    HTML5
    Javascript,
    CSS 3,
    jQuery

Preferred Experience:
    Work experience with mobile applications
    Agile/​ Scrum experience
    Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly
    Willingness to learn fast with a "roll-up-the-sleeves" and "get the job done" attitude
    Work well in a team environment
Education:
    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Science or related.​ Master's preferred.​
    Experience may be considered in lieu of completed Degree.​
