Growing, successful northern Illinois equipment dealership is looking for an Ag Sales Professional to cover an established territory that has an excellent sales history and potential. The successful candidate will be able to take ownership of this territory, enjoy building good rapport with farmer customers, and provide excellent customer service.
This is an opportunity to sell new and used agricultural equipment while working in a family atmosphere business where you have the full support of the team but no one is looking over your shoulder; you will also not be stuck behind a desk.
Qualified candidate will be self-motivated and have a strong agricultural background with 3 - 5 years sales experience (equipment, agronomy, seed, etc.) and a good track record of sales success. Customer focus is key along with good communication and organizational skills.
The ideal candidate will enjoy going out and calling on existing customers as well as making cold calls to prospective customers. It is also essential to develop a good rapport with the service and parts team.
Competitive earning potential with a smaller base and attractive commissions paid monthly. $50-80,000+ potential. Good benefits including a vehicle are provided.
