Expanding agricultural equipment company needs a detail-oriented service technician for their shop. The successful candidate will work at their own pace and do what they need to do to get used equipment spruced up and add value for re-sale.
Duties will include doing repair work, service work, clean-up, buffing and painting, and welding.

Although working on used equipment will be the number one priority, this person will also work on new equipment when there is no used equipment to work on.

Having a farm background and experience with ag equipment is important. This position is full-time, but will allow a reduced work schedule (approximately 25-30 hours per week) for an individual desiring time off to farm during planting and harvest if needed. The busiest times will be January to April and August to September.

Unique opportunity for a service tech who enjoys restoring equipment. Hourly wage based on experience, likely in the $15-16 per hour range. Central Illinois.
