Management
•Responsible for the leadership, coaching, development, and supervision of Farm Managers, sow farm employees, and overall sow system within assigned geographical region
•Work closely with the Farm Managers and Nursery, Grow Finish, and other internal support groups to maintain a clear understanding of pig flow, herd health, pig transportation, and current sow system production issues
•Develop and facilitate individual development plans for Farm Manages and staff
•Assist in the development of training programs and monitor their use and effectiveness
•Monitor safety issues and implement safe workplace practices for staff
•Support and promote company policies and procedures, including the implementation of standard operating procedures and best practices for environmental stewardship
•Perform and comply with practices that promote bio-security

    To be considered for this role:
  •     You must have 3-5 years of sow production experience and as Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science or agricultural related degree is a plus
  •     Multi-site experience
  •     Outstanding attention to detail and organizational ability
  •     Proven ability to make timely and appropriate problem solving and decision making decisions
  •     Ability to manage time and priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment
  •     Display a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and strategic thought
  •     Proven ability to effectively lead people and manage by example along with strong interpersonal skills
  •     Ability to exercise independent thinking and judgment
  •     Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

Salary: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00
