DuPont Pioneer is seeking a 3 month Agronomy Intern to assist the agronomy staff with on-farm crop management research project execution from May-August 2014.

Work closely with the Technical Services Team on assigned initiatives related to agronomic trialing efforts. These may include working with DuPont Pioneer scientists, customers, sales representatives, or third party (e.g. University) personnel to locate, plant, and collect data on large scale demonstration and small scale research plots. Maintain quality data records and ensure timely data entry into Pioneer systems. Work with Technical Services Team to identify, plant, and maintain demonstration locations for technical and sales training efforts. Support Technical Services Team in conducting sales training and customer field days. Other opportunities to support crop management research initiatives will continue to be defined.


Skills:

    Bachelor's Degree in an agricultural-related field or working towards a Bachelor's Degree
    Agricultural background
    Strong written and oral communication skill
    Must have the ability to lead, organize and execute a project or initiative
    Ability to work on own and take initiative completing assigned projects
