Position Overview

Work in grain systems department on repairs & service of existing grain handling systems and in construction of new grain systems equipment.

Essential Job Functions

    Bin erection, service and repair work on grain systems
    Diagnose and troubleshoot grain system problems
    Maintain vehicles and equipment assigned to grain systems department
    Willing to work in other departments of Gold Star when asked
    Other duties as assigned

Requirements

    Mechanical ability and experience with cutting torch and welder
    Fabrication skills
    Must have a valid driver's license plus CDL or be willing to obtain a CDL
    Be able to lift a minimum of 70 pounds

Other Skills/Abilities

    Ability to climb elevator legs and bins
    Adept at working at heights
    Proven commitment to excellent customer service
