This role will run/ program machines, demonstrating proficiency in applying basic machining principles & use of precision measuring equipment.

Essential Responsibilities:     In addition, you will:

Set up and operating conventional machines such as lathes, mills, jig bore, EDM, grinder band saw
Setup run CNC 3X mill with FANUC controller
Be responsible for producing high-quality very precise metallic & non-metallic parts
Inspect and measure machined work pieces to verify conformance to specifications
Clean and Debur machined parts
Perform minor preventative maintenance on machines

Qualifications/Requirements:    
High School Diploma / GED
Minimum 5 years related experience in aviation/ aerospace machining

Eligibility Requirements:
Ability and willingness to lift up to 50 lbs as required

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

Desired Characteristics:    
Ability to use CNC machine probe
Ability to read blueprints that have GD & T
Able to use and read calipers, micrometers and other common precision measuring devices
Basic math skills and trigonometry
CNC programming experience with FANUC Controller
A & P certificate
