QUALIFICATIONS:           Minimum of HS diploma, GED or equivalent, with background in industrial electrical and automation maintenance of high speed industry equipment.    
                                                               
RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Insures that all aspects of the company safety policy and procedures are adhered to
    Directs/schedules assigned employees in the performance of approved maintenance work
    Works closely with scheduler/planner on all assigned work schedules
    Insures that all aspects of the food safety, HAACP and Government programs are adhered to with emphasis on the continue compliance to these programs
    Ensures activities and projects are started and completed with in the set timetable, maintaining accurate and up to date project files and drawings , and identifying and correcting safety, ergonomic, and operational problems through proper design of equipment
    Promotes inter-plant communication and provides technical support on an as-needed basis
    Follows up with facility team leaders/members on continuous cost reduction/process improvement ideas, and
    Performs other responsibilities as the need arises associated with the above duties as assigned


This position is responsible for evaluating, planning, justifying, coordinating, and following up on projects that focus on production growth and/or projects that optimize existing production/operations.
