QUALIFICATIONS:

- BS AgBusiness, Ag Finance or other Ag-related degree preferred
- 5-7 years risk management experience in the Grain industry a MUST
- Experience with risk management tools such as hedging, options, futures, basis and CBOT
- Working knowledge of logistics and transportation costs relative to risk management
- Solid communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent customer relationship skills a MUST
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Computer proficiency

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Established Ag Employer looking for an experienced Grain Risk Manager to take a young grain procurement department to the next level. Will manage all aspects of a grain risk management program. Will assist customer Ag producers with their risk management strategies. Ideal individual will have mid-level risk management experience, good working knowledge of risk management tools, an outgoing personality with excellent communication and organizational skills including strong Ag grower relationship skills and an ability to oversee and direct 1-2 other grain procurement department personnel. Will report directly to the Purchasing Manager.
