Farm Site Manager / Grower

We are looking for an individual with greenhouse growing experience to become the farm site manager for a small horticulture operation in southern California.  This position will work very closely with the research team to propagate, graft, and manage the on and off site breeding material.  Must be able to manage regulatory, pest and disease management, maintenance, labor support, etc.

Key Requirements for the Farm Site Manager / Grower Position:

    Bachelor degree in Horticulture
    Three (3) years minimum management experience in a commercial, wholesale setting demonstrating effective management of cost, productivity and profitability
    Management experience encompassing integration of labor activities
    Three (3) years growing experience demonstrated in a wholesale environment with demonstrated proficiency in multiple crop management including features of planning, inventory, and financial management
    Bi-lingual would be helpful, but not essential
