SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for all functional areas of a particular plant including the efficient operation of all production shifts, maintenance, personnel, safety, shipping, receiving, sanitation, scheduling, quality and process improvement. Other responsibilities include motivating managers to provide guidance and programs to enhance the skill level of their employees, resolving issues related to the quality of incoming and outgoing goods, and reviewing costand performance data to help determine areas that need improvement. This position has to obtain approval, executing all capital improvements for plants and manage AGRI STATS to improve yield values. Other duties include initiating discussion and implementation of improvement in all phases of production, assisting in identifying, evaluating, and correcting problems, and performing other responsibilities as the need arises.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Requires broad knowledge in a general professional or technical field normally acquired through four years of college resulting in a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Experience: 6 + years applicable experience in the poultry industry preferred.

Computer Skills: Requires elementary computer skills. For example, checking electronic mail, entering data into document templates, or creating simple queries.

Travel: 6 to 11 trips per year.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position is responsible for managing several groups of personnel who perform diverse tasks and activities in more than one department.
