Director, Standards of Business Conduct
This is an exempt level position.

Position Summary:
This position would be primarily responsible for managing ADM's Compliance Standards of Business Conduct programs, including, but not limited to, the Code of Conduct and ADM Way HelpLine.  
The Director, Standards of Business Conduct demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives.  It is the intention that the Director, Standards of Business Conduct will also support other areas within Compliance such as Investigations, Policy Governance, Training and Communications, Strategic Planning and other initiatives that may develop.   In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, promulgate and maintain strong rapport and relationships with the Business Units (locally and globally), and contribute to the overall business strategy.

Job Requirements:
Provide advice, counsel and training to ADM business leaders and employees in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to Code of Conduct and related policies.
Manage the development of the Standards of Conduct team; strong leadership skills and succession planning is integral to this position.
Build the support for ADM's compliance program with Business Units, including international business partners.  Act as a liaison to representatives from other Corporate Units.
Oversee Policy Governance related to ADM Corporate global policies; periodically review company policies, systems and procedures that fall under the Code of Conduct.  If found non-existent or deficient, implement remedial action to mitigate risk.
Ensure training programs and instructional materials are created as needed and ongoing basis, evaluate such programs and materials to ensure they continuously meet ADM's goals of conducting business in accordance with the highest ideals of integrity.  Lead content creation and policy review for annual Code of Conduct training.
Provide periodic reports to the Compliance Lead on the implementation of the Standards of Conduct program.
Manage other aspects of the Compliance program's short and long term goals as required, including supporting Strategic Planning efforts.
Support Compliance efforts in integration of acquisitions and joint ventures.
Bachelor's Degree required; post-graduate degree in the area(s) of law or international business preferred.  In lieu of post-graduate experience, candidate must have extensive experience working cross-functionally in a multinational company.
At least ten years of relevant work experience.  This may include corporate compliance and ethics department or other comparable experience of monitoring compliance or enforcing rules and regulations in a multinational company.   International experience preferred.
Proven track record of successfully managing and developing teams.
Must be able to travel throughout region and internationally and work non-standard hours due to time zone differences.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Proficiency in managing projects (simple and complex) and using technical PM tools.
Research - Must have the ability to conduct detailed research on a variety of topics using the internet and other publicly available resources.
