Corporate encompasses the core operational support for all Land OLakes businesses. It includes Business Development Services, Corporate Market Strategy and Communications, Finance, Law, Human Resources, Information Technology and Public Affairs.

Position Purpose:
This individual is responsible for proactively analyzing information security practices and systems and deploying appropriate measures to safeguard the assets of the corporation. Provide IT Security leadership for corporate technology and services decisions. Interface with customers, management and outside vendors regarding security. Work with business and technology areas to define and implement technical security requirements. Balance business requirements with security requirements and controls.

Provide a high-level of technical leadership in the development and deployment of configuration standards for applications, operating systems and networks.
Integrate application security by collaborating with development and application teams to ensure security and regulatory requirements are built into the design.
Translate business and security objectives into sustainable controls.
Assist business units in understanding and implementing security policy objectives in ways that are cost effective and align with business objectives.
Research, recommend, design and implement security system solutions to support the business environment.
Ensure operational security technologies are properly implemented and troubleshoot when necessary, including solutions for IPS, SIEM, Web filtering, firewalls, and others.
Provide security input for network and software architectural changes and new projects.
Stay current on security industry trends, attack techniques, mitigation techniques and security technologies.
Mentor and train less experienced IT Security staff.
Provide input to the departments leadership for enhancing the IT Security strategy, when necessary.
Provide expertise on the effective use of commercial security solutions to solve security issues.
Perform risk and security assessments and provide IT risk reduction recommendations.
Perform security and legal investigations.

Qualifications:

Experience-Education (Required):
Minimum 6 years experience within an Information Technology organization, with a concentration on IT Security.
In-depth knowledge of security across technologies and multiple operating system environments including network and application-level security.
Technical knowledge: Linux, DNS, LAN, WAN, Cisco Networks, IPS, Microsoft Active Directory, SSO technologies, encryption, F5, firewalls.
Solid knowledge of information security principles and practices
