Corporate encompasses the core operational support for all Land OLakes businesses. It includes Business Development Services, Corporate Market Strategy and Communications, Finance, Law, Human Resources, Information Technology and Public Affairs.



Position Purpose:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to play an integral role in strategic communications for Land OLakes during a summer internship program. This person should be a self-starter with web/social inclination who is passionate about the possibility of enhancing employee engagement and building our companys reputation for today and the future.

Duties include:
Participate in multi-part strategic project to drive engagement and technology adoption among Land OLakes employees.
Provide ongoing writing and multimedia support for various corporate communications tools intranet, corporate website, social properties, publications, etc.
Provide research and tactical support for a variety of corporate communications projects.

Technologies the intern may work with:
SharePoint 2013
Social platforms (internal and external)
Microsoft Outlook, Lync, Word, PowerPoint
Photoshop & Lightroom
Video production & editing in iMovie or Final Cut Pro

Qualifications:

Experience-Education (Required):
Senior or recent graduate: Bachelors degree in communications, publications, journalism or a related field.

Competencies-Skills (Required):
Strong project management and research skills.
Possess leadership qualities (adaptability; resourcefulness; initiative).
Ability to convey ideas clearly in writing and in verbal presentation.


Experience-Education (Preferred):
Prior internship experience or experience working in an office setting.

Competencies-Skills (Preferred):

Internal communications experience (preferably at a large corporation)
Experience using SharePoint
Familiarity and experience with social media tools
Photography and photo editing skills
Video production and editing skills
Web publishing experience
