Job Duties:
Perform electrical repairs on equipment at a corn milling facility with a heavy emphasis on Maintenance Reliability. Perform routine electrical repair projects and preventative maintenance on production equipment such as breaker boxes, motor leads and lighting fixtures. Assist in the installation and wiring of new/modified electrical equipment. Monitor plant motors and starters, checking for hot spots and completing required reports. Select, install and pull wiring to required equipment locations; making connections, testing circuitry and performing related installation processes of low and medium voltage to 4160V.
 
Requirements:
     Strong safety values
     High school diploma or equivalent with strong fundamental skills (math, reading, and writing)
    Training in electrical and Identifying and diagnosing electrical problems
    Maintain accurate and thorough inventory of electrical parts and related manuals
    Performing instrumentation work (experience in industry setting preferred)
    Direct industrial maintenance experience or high exposure to industrial maintenance preferred
    Computer skills - a must
    PLC experience and industrial controls experience preferred
    Familiarity with 3 phase electrical systems
    Knowledge of corn milling operations - a strong plus
    Experience with CMMS - a strong plus
    Flexibility in accepting change
    Communication (spoken and written) and teamwork skills
    Knowledge of NEC code requirements
    ABC Schooling is a strong plus
    Experience in CEMS-a strong plus
    Ability to satisfactorily complete an electrical aptitude and hands-on test
    Willingness to work shifts
    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., walk long distances, stand for long periods, climb stairs and ladders, work at heights, and work in extreme temperature conditions
    Selection methods include testing, an interview process, background check and pre-employment physical (including drug screen).  New employees are required to satisfy 120 day probationary period
    Starting pay is dependent on skills & background. This position offers a complete benefit package including 401K/ESOP, pension, health, life and dental coverage. Relocation is not included.
