Corporate encompasses the core operational support for all Land OLakes businesses. It includes Business Development Services, Corporate Market Strategy and Communications, Finance, Law, Human Resources, Information Technology and Public Affairs.

Position Purpose:
The Telecommunications Supervisor is responsible for evaluating and overseeing all telecommunications technology operations (Unified Communications, Contact Center, and Conferencing Technologies) and carrier services. Responsible for creating and maintaining a high perfoming support organization. Will provide technical and professional leadership to telecom support analysts; own the telecom accounting functions for the organization (invoice processing, call accounting, chargeback, monthly close process, performance metrics, etc.). Supervisor must interface with all levels of management and outside vendors. Candidates must have a proven track record of leading a diverse technical staff of direct reports and resources.
 
Qualifications:
Experience-Education (Required):
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related discipline; Masters degree is optional
Five to Ten years of related experience managing group(s) responsible for strategic planning, technical services for hardware/software engineering, and production support of the areas of responsibility listed above
Experience in multiplatform environments

Competencies-Skills (Required):
Proven customer service skills and the ability to lead customer-centric teams
Team performance management experience
Technical experience related to Cisco Unified Communications, A/V, and Conferencing technologies
Handling issue escalation; performance statistics reporting; billing support/modification

Experience-Education (Preferred):

Expert-level experience:
- Ensuring the control, reliability, and performance of all telecommunications systems
- Establishing standards, guidelines, and processes
- Researching and assessing available telecommunications technologies in relation to the enterprises current and future needs
- Cisco certifications
Competencies-Skills (Preferred):

The ability to:
- Develop strategic plans and identify key success factors; set priorities and allocate the resources to achieve unit, division, and corporate goals
- Advise senior management on the viability of using specific systems and diverse or new technologies (e.g., convergence systems)
- Act as senior-level mentor to telecommunications support staff
