DuPont Pioneer is seeking a Senior Software Developer to lead, analyze, design, develop and implement new or existing applications to meet ongoing development needs in Field Research. The successful candidate will coordinate and/or lead technical strategies of application development and data management all while using Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities:
Sr. Developer will work with Scrum team to design and develop software applications, data structures, and processes to meet the Field Research needs.

Provide technical leadership and direction on projects.
Follow and improve established processes for the software development life cycle with an agile approach to delivering software.

Senior Software Developers work closely with team on architecture, design and code reviews.
Collaborate with Product Owners to identify new opportunities for software innovation.

Skills:
Education:

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field And a minimum of 2 years in software development required or equivalent levels of relevant experience.

May have Master's degree but not required.


Required Experience:

Experience developing with C# .Net with a focus on WPF, ASP .NET and/or Windows Forms required.

Object-oriented development experience.

Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Possesses excellent leadership and organizational skills.


Desired Experience (but not required):

• Strong understanding of developing analytical algorithms desired.
• Relational databases and SQL experience desired.
• Experience with large, complex relational databases and query optimization a plus.
• Experience with leading technical teams a plus.
• Experience with .Net, relational databases, and SQL a plus.
• A background or interest in biology, genetics or agriculture a plus.
