Production Clerk-Velva, NDThis is a non-exempt position.

Job Description:
The Production Clerk is expected to uphold a commitment to and participate in the plant's safety and environmental programs as required by the plant manager's goals and objectives and uphold the plant's safety and environmental cultures. Will perform general administrative duties for ADM's Velva Office, which include but are not limited to: 
promote safety; answering telephones; scaling trucks as needed; organizing and maintaining both electronic and hard copy files; scanning and copying documents; preparing and processing invoices; investigate and resolve billing errors; preparing and processing purchase orders; obtaining check requests; month-end accounting and inventory reconciliation; and routine data entry into various computer programs. Will enter daily inventory; sort and deliver mail; able to research for special projects; greet and direct visitors; and order items for the plant office including break room supplies.

Requirements:
Applicant must have regular, prompt attendance, be polite and work well with others. Effective multi-tasking and strong organizational skills are key to the success of this position, as well as, verbal/written communication skills.
Qualified candidate must demonstrate behaviors of flexibility, self-motivation and a willingness to learn, in addition to being a team player, be proactive and able to work independently when required. This position will serve as a back-up for payroll and HR.Qualified candidate must have previous similar work experience. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook are required. Experience with AFGO, POGO, IMS, and Maximo are helpful. Must be willing to complete projects within specified deadlines.Position requires sitting for prolonged periods of time, bending, kneeling, light lifting and communicating by telephone.
