Feed manufacturer located in California is seeking a Production Supervisor for their night shift.

Responsibilities for this role will include:

    Ensure that team members are trained and that they follow all safety and food safety policies and procedures, GMP's and plant rules.
    Supervise Plant Operations in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
    Train, coach and mentor employees on a daily basis.
    Select, train, motivate, and discipline (when necessary) employees.
    Ensure goals are established and met for the Production Area as well as company goals and objectives.
    Coordinate production startups, shutdowns, changeovers and sanitation.
    Schedule and conduct shift meetings to review safety concerns and performance along with plant performance and expectations.
    Communicate with other Supervisors, Operations Manager, and other members of the Team.

To be considered for this position, you need to be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, have excellent communication skills and previous leadership experience with a track record of excellent performance.
