The Corporate division encompasses the core operational support for all Land OLakes businesses. It includes Business Development Services, Corporate Strategy, Corporate Communications, Land OLakes Foundation and Community Relations, Finance, Law, Human Resources, Information Technology and Government Relations.

Position Purpose:
The Lead Payroll Specialist will be responsible for the accurate processing of weekly/bi-weekly payroll for 10,000 employees working and partnering with other team members as needed.
This position will take the lead on complex transactions including year- end, mergers & acquisitions, etc. In addition, this position provides expertise to other staff and works with other departments as needed to take on the lead in troubleshooting and making decisions on action items.

Qualifications:
Experience-Education (Required): High School diploma required along with 4-6 years relevant HRMS/Payroll experience.
CPP or pursuit of CPP certification required.

Competencies-Skills (Required): 
Expertise in MS Office; Requires independent judgment and analytical skills, strong communication skills, ability to priortize workload, attention to detail.

Experience-Education (Preferred): 
4 year Bachelor's degree or pursuit of degree strongly desired.
